  Dr. Latkovic is a reknowned theologian who teaches at Sacred Heart Majory Seminary in Michigan. His article is one attempt to define, explain and compile the Church's social teaching. Local copy

  This guide is a brief but very helpful source for gaining a working understanding of the Church's social teaching and its history.
• Pope Pius XI. 1922. Ubi Arcano Dei Consilio.
  Pius XI's encyclical "on the peace of Christ in the Kingdom of Christ" discusses the absolute necessity of a Christ-centered society and culture. Local copy

  Hippler's work represents an approachable, incisive treatment of Catholic social teaching.
